When our team creates a product, we continue innovating to make it even more sustainable and effective. That’s why we developed the AIRE Environmental Diversion Tube Stacking System (DTSS). The Diversion Tube Stacking System creates an 18” or 24″ tall barrier, replacing the need for at least 90 sandbags for every 10 feet of barrier length. Utilizing a DTSS not only increases system loft height but also enhances barrier stability, improves seepage reduction, and helps prevent the shifting of Diversion Tubes facing currents and wave action. The DTSS is a triple-tube system that functions by utilizing downward load and compression from a single upper tube into the cradle of the lower tubes, which are retained within the sleeves.
NOTE: Diversion Tubes and Stacking Systems may require support to prevent rolling/shifting. Stakes or intermittent sandbagging may be required to stabilize the tubes.
Choosing the right number of stacking sleeves depends on the length of the tube you will be using. Each sleeve is approximately 6 feet long and should be spaced no more than 3 feet apart. (Some exceptions may apply.) Please refer to the table below to help you with your planning process.
